My Most Exciting Day Ever

3/8/2015

According to the Oxford Online Dictionary, the term, "Exciting", is an adjective whose definition states; "Causing great enthusiasm and eagerness". You probably already knew what exciting meant, but why am I telling you this? Well, for this week's constructed response, I'm going to be talking about my most exciting day ever. My most exciting day ever would be on the 2013-2014 STN trip. It's hard to choose a specific day because they were all very fun and exciting, however, for the sake of this blog, I'm going to choose Day 5, when we went to Hollywood Studios, Epcot/DisneyWorld, and Golden Corral. Read on to find out what happened and why I chose it as my most exciting day ever!
The first reason why I chose it as my most exciting day ever is because it was such a fun day! We went to Hollywood Studios and DisneyWorld, which was the first time I've been to either one of those parks. We rode the ride, Tower of Terror, which was also the first time I've rode it. I thought that was a pretty big accomplishment for me since I've always been afraid of that ride, probably because I have a big fear of heights and falling. In fact, you can read my blog post I wrote a couple months back, "Scary.". I'd say the ride was thrilling. However, my favorite ride was a ride named Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Featuring Aerosmith. That ride was sooo fun; I absolutely loved it! What was really exciting was in the beginning. It had a countdown, and when it reached 0, the ride jerked forward so fast that it felt as if gravity was fighting against you, and you couldn't move! What made it even better was that they snapped a photo during that time and you got to laugh at all the funny faces we made because of the speed. I got to sit with my friends, and it was a roller coaster in the dark which made it enjoyable. Also, there was loud upbeat music playing in the background. I thought it was very exciting because I was there, riding a roller coaster with all my friends, in the dark with loud music, and we are surprised by all the sharp turns and loops ahead of us since we couldn't see anything! Then we went on other rides such as this Star Tour Simulator, and a Toy Story game! Finally, we went back to Epcot where we got to be apart of a marriage proposal for one of the other media teachers. It was really cool to be apart of such a sweet thing! After that we just ate dinner at Golden Corral where they had cotton candy and ice cream sundaes! I chose this day as my most exciting day ever because I had such a fun time.
Another reason I chose this day as my most exciting day ever is because I was surrounded by great people. I really got to bond with all my classmates and became pretty close to some. They made this day even more exciting. With their humorous jokes, it was impossible to not laugh and be happy! I especially loved going on rides with them. For example, we went on a ride that I mentioned earlier, Star Tour Simulator, which is a four person ride, and they flip you and make you dizzy as a test to see what it would be like if you flew a spaceship. Even though it made me really dizzy and a bit nauseous, it didn't really matter to me since I was with my friends and we were having fun! We started screaming, not because it was scary and frighting, but just because it was hilarious. It probably doesn't make sense when I tell you this, but at that time, all that mattered was that we were all together and happy. I chose this day as my most exciting day ever because the great people that surrounded me made it more fun.
The final reason I chose this day as my most exciting day ever is because all of the things I did were new to me. I didn't know what to expect when I went to Orlando, Florida last year since I haven't been there before! In fact, excluding last year's STN trip, that was only the 2nd time I've been out of the state! It was very exciting because I was so curious to know what Florida would be like! I was even excited for the 12 hour plane ride. Well, I was probably only excited for like the first 2 hours. But nevertheless, it was pretty cool. I got the window seat which I loved since I like to see what we pass over. During the two plane rides, I saw very unique things. For one, everything looked microscopic. The plots were different sizes and colors, yet they all seemed to fit together perfectly. Another thing that was new to me were basically all the things we did! I've never been to a NBA basketball game, go to DisneyWorld, or Florida's Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, so it was all very exciting and adventurous! This day, and overall that trip, was the most exciting moment of my life, ever because they were all new experiences to me.
In summary, the 2013-2014, specifically Day 5, was the most exciting day ever because it was such a fun day, I was with great people, and because it was all so new to me. I am very blessed and fortunate to be in this class and go on that trip. I can truthfully say that, that trip was the best moments of my life. Thank you for all that made this possible! On another note, I can't wait until San Diego and to see what that trip will have to offer! We will just have to wait until that exciting adventure begins. Well, that's it for my blog! Thanks for reading! Bye!
