Final Project Update #1

4/17/2015

Hey Everyone! As you know, we have started our fourth quarter projects. In the beginning, Angeline and I agreed to do a short film. However, that idea fell through so we went onto our backup plan, a music video. I am doing a music video with Angeline, on the song, "Play On", by Carrie Underwood.  For this week's constructed response, I will be giving you a progress check on how our project is going. Our project is on schedule according to this day because we finished our TIAS, we posted our rough draft of our script, and we are awaiting feedback from Mr. M.
The first reason why we are on track is because we posted our TIAS. We were a little behind at first, since we changed projects. But we managed to put together a TIAS pretty quickly. Instead of doing a love song for a music video, we decided to take a little different route and do an inspirational song. The song we decided to do is "Play On" by Carrie Underwood. The moral and message of the song is that even when times are tough, don't give up and keep going. The story of our video is that a girl get's bullied, and another girl writes her an inspirational letter. The girl who get's bullied wants to give up, but with the help of the writer, she plays on and they become friends. We are on track because we posted our TIAS.
The second reason why we are on track is because we finished our scripts on time. Scripts are due today, which is Friday, April 17th. After we posted our TIAS, we immediately started writing our scripts. Angeline and I put off time to do our script, and we ended up finishing our script in a day. Our script is basically based off of our TIAS. Instead of the traditional lip sync, we are making the writer write the lyrics in her letter. We are on track because we finished our scripts on time.
The third reason why we are on track is because we are waiting on feedback for our scripts. Once we get feedback, we can make revisions to our script. This will improve our video. Hopefully, we will get our scripts approved, and then we can move on ahead. Then we can film, and edit, and get our rough draft of the video.
In conclusion, Angeline and I are on track with our projects. We are on track because we finished our TIAS, posted our scripts, and are now just awaiting on feedback from Mr. M. Hopefully everything will turn out great. That's it for my blog! Thanks for reading! Bye!
